creamy mashroom

Creamy mashroom

200 grams button mushroom diced
1/2 cup onion paste
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 bay leaf
1 green cardamoms
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
4 tablespoon curd
1/2 cup fresh cream
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Salt to taste


Heat a 1 tablespoon oil in pan add bay leaf ,clove ,cardamom, cumin when they start crackle add onion paste saute it for a minute then add ginger garlic paste until aromatic, onions gets soft and golden in colour, turmeric , chilli powder , garam masala mix all well now add mashroom and 1/2cup or little less water and cook it for 6 to 8 minutes(till mashroom cooked) and add salt  . In small bowl whipp curd and fresh cream ,,after 6 -8 minutes switch off the flame add pour cream mix into gravy and give it a gentle mix granish it with chopped green coriander .... serve hot with any indian flat bread or rice enjoy Kritika's cuisine

Apple Jam in microwave


2apples (medium size)
1 cup sugar
1/2teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice


Wash apples ,wipe them with a cloth and peel them , grate / cut the into small pieces.

In a microwave safe bowl microwave grated apple for 1 minute(high 900w)
Now remove and add sugar & cinnamon powder

 mix all ingredients well.
  microwave again for 3 min untill apples are tender.

 get it out / let it cool down at room temperature . now blend
it in v blender make smooth paste.
Pour paste in a same bowl
again microwave it for 2 minutes until mixture is slightly thickened , take it out add lemon juice mixwell .
Pour it in jar & kept in refrigerator for 25 - 30 days  Kritika's cuisine

mysore pak

Gram Flour / Besan 1/2 cup
 Sugar powder 1 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon
Milk 2 tsp


Sieve gram flour

, so there is no lumps present. Now in a microwave safe bowl, take 1 tablespoon of ghee and add in the sifted besan
and mix well

. Microwave it on high power (900w) for a 1 minute and mix this well. Remove this mix to a plate
.Now in the same bowl, add ghee, powder sugar, milk and gram flour. Give a good mix

. Now microwave it for 1 min ,remove it and mix

and put this again the microwave for 1 minute .Now the mix will be little foamy. If you find it not that foamy and air
y, if not then microwave it for another 30 second
.Now the mix will be correct consistency.Grease a plate with ghee and set aside. Pour the whole mix in a grease dish and smooth it slightly
. Leave it for 10-15 minutes.Once it becomes warm,draw shapes

.Remove once its cooled down completely. Enjoy Kritika's cuisine..

Guava /peru Chutney

Peeru chutney
2 medium riped Peru /Amrud / Bihi /Guava
Half bunch of green coriander
4-5 green chilli (or according to your taste )
3-4 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon jeera / cumin seeds
Salt as per taste

 Roast peru / guava on a gas cooktop by just placing straight on the burner and keeping the flame on low setting. Keep turning and cooking till all the skin on the peru is charred and the inner flesh looks really soft. Once the peru is roasted, allow to cool fully and then peel off and discard the charred skin. Once cool, coarsely mash / cut and keep aside for use. In a blender jar take mash /cut roasted peru , coriander , green chilli , garlic , jeera, salt, blend in a mixer till smooth.
Peeru chutney is ready to be served.This chutney can be kept in refrigerator for 5-7 day Kritika's cuisine..

Pav Bhaji

Pav Bhaji is one of the most popular street food in mumbai. The Pav Bhaji can be had as a brunch or as meal during lunch / dinner, also have it as an evening snack.

2 medium sizes potatoes
1 cup chopped cauliflower
1/2 cup bell pepper
1 1/2 cup fresh peas
1 /2cup chopped carrot
1/2cup cabbage
1 large onion finely chopped / grated
2 cup tomato puree
4 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
2 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder
3 tablespoon pav bhaji masala
1teaspoon garam masala powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin seed
2 bay leaf
3 tablespoon ghee or butter

In a presser cooker, add all veggies cook it for 2- 3
Heat a butter in a kadhai and add the cumin seed, bay leaf when the seeds crackle, add ginger &garlic paste and saute it on slow flame for a 1 minute, thn add chopped onions and saute until aromatic, onions gets soft and golden in colour, add tomato puree cook for 5 min until the tomato leave the oli ,now add oli ,now add turmeric , kashmiri chilli powder , garm masala, pav bhaji masala and mix well aftr a minute add cook veggies mix veggies and masala well mash the veggies directly in the pan. cook it for 10 minutes on a low flame add water if needed add lemon juice 1 teaspoon and salt mix all ingredients gently bhaji is ready to serve ..

Ladi pavs
On a flat pan, heat some butter.
When the butter melts, keep the pavs on the melted butter and fry for a minute. Ready to serve with bhaji .Kritika's cuisine..

Red chilli & garlic chutney

Red chillies & garlic chutney is basic chutney used with many indian snack (like vada pav , bhel puri, dosa , alu chat and many more ) and ranging from wraps to street-food recipes.

Red chilli and garlic chutney
Whole dry kashmiri red chillies 15 -20
Garlic 20 cloves
Vinger 4 teaspoons
salt to taste
In a bowk soak kashmiri chillies in water for half an drain it grind the kashmiri chillies and garlic cloves , salt little bit sugar (optinal )with Vinger a fine paste. Add a little water if necessary and mix well. Pour it in a air tight container and keep it in freeze u can use it for 30 to 40 days . Kritika's cuisine..

One minute brownie
maida 1/4 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tablespoon
Pinch of salt
Pinch of soda
Oil 2 tablespoon
Milk at room temperature 1/4 cup
Vanilla essence 1/4 teaspoon


In a bowl Sift the flour , soda ,baking, coco powder mix dry ingredients , now add oil and milk mix all dry and wet ingredients well now pour mix into mug or in microwave safe small bowl and put it in microwave for 1 minute at high power Check it with toothpick .. if not done then microwave it for another 10 sec... when its done.... take it out and let it come to room temperature. peda 5 minutes microwave peda


 1 cup milk powder
 1/4 cup milk or cream
2 teaspoon ghee
3 table spoon sugar powder
1 tea spoon cardamom powder
10 to saffron trand soaked in 1 tablesoon milk
 In a microwave safe bowl mix together milk powder, ghee , saffron milk and cream.
microwave it for 2 mins (high).
get it out and stir well . Microwave it for again 1 minminute it back in the microwave for the last time for 2 minutes.let it cool down at room temperature add powdered sugar and cardamom powder and mix well .
Grease your palm with ghee and make pada
